One-way electronic communication will now be allowed from the coach to the pitcher and/or the catcher for the purposes of calling pitches. Prior, the catcher was the only defensive player allowed to receive communication from the coach.

While your license is in good standing, DiamondShield covers those wearables and the Hub for manufacturing defects and for breakage during normal play — screens, straps, buttons, batteries, the enclosure. We inspect the unit, then repair or replace it so your program stays on the field.

Before the pitch is called, the system highlights your best options based on real data — every pitch type in the pitcher's arsenal against the current batter. Each option shows the specific zone, pitch type, confidence level, and sample size behind it.

Primary Attack

Best opportunities — lowest attack score combinations where the pitcher has command and the batter has shown vulnerability. Up to 5 recommendations.

Secondary

Viable options with acceptable risk. Solid fallback calls when the batter has adjusted.

Avoid

Pitch-zone combinations where the data says the batter has shown real damage potential.

Log Pitches During the Game

The charting coach logs pitches on the tablet as the game happens. Stored locally in real time — no internet connection needed in the dugout.

Auto-Sync to Web Server

Background sync runs approximately every minute when connected. At the end of the game, a targeted sync sends all unsynced pitch rows to the server.

Server Recomputes Profiles

When new pitches arrive, the server automatically marks batter and pitcher profiles stale and recomputes BDS and PCS grids for affected players immediately.

Updated Profiles Back to Tablet

Before the next game, the tablet pulls fresh opponent batter profiles and pitcher profiles. The Battle Card runs entirely on-device — no internet required.

What a Game Looks Like With PerfectCall

Pre-Game

The tablet syncs opponent batter profiles overnight. Coaches review the Battle Card for each lineup slot — which zones are primary attack versus avoid for each pitcher in today's rotation, based on everything charted against this team in previous games.

During the Game

The pitching coach selects the current batter. The Battle Card opens with ranked recommendations. The coach selects a zone and pitch type, and the system pre-fills that into the send screen. One tap sends the call to the catcher and pitcher simultaneously.

The charting coach logs the result: location tapped on the strike zone, outcome selected, contact quality and hit location logged if needed. All of this takes seconds.

After the Game

Pitch data syncs automatically. Profiles update. The web dashboard shows the game summary: pitch type distribution, strike rate, contact quality breakdown, and how each call performed.

Open the Workbench and review any pitcher or batter's zone performance. Generate a PDF scouting report for the next series. The next time this lineup steps in, you will have more data than you did today.
